Children’s Safe Harbor provides critical resources, justice, and support to families and young people across multiple counties and communities, and our team was brought on to complete the exterior landscape and hardscape of their new facility located in Conroe, TX. Working with Tellepsen and LANDology, we focused our efforts on building a functional space that serves the organization and the individuals they support every day.

A major focus of our work was the central courtyard. We handled the installation of the pedestrian sidewalks and the pavers that run throughout the site. To connect different areas of the grounds, we built a composite wood bridge that sits over the new landscaping and custom water feature we built. Behind the scenes, we incorporated the courtyard drainage and installed a complete irrigation system.

The centerpiece of the project is the courtyard water feature. This was a turnkey installation for us, meaning we took care of every phase of the build, including the steel, gunite, plaster, and tile work. With the water feature’s equipment operating on a separate pad nearby, the filtration and chemical systems can be managed efficiently and safely.

From the heavy concrete ground operations to the final placement of the site furnishings, projects like this remind our team why we choose to "Think Outside" every day. We are deeply honored to have contributed to this facility and proud to provide an exterior space for Children’s Safe Harbor as they continue their vital mission in our communities.
