What is the most unusual or interesting part of your job?

The most interesting part of my job is seeing all the different paths that people have taken to end up finding their career in construction. Most people you meet that work in construction started their career in another field and one way or another seem to stumble into a career in construction. Its always interesting to hear the path people took into the industry.

Are there any unique skills or areas of expertise that you feel set you apart?

Problem-solving is one of my greatest attributes. There's always going to be some kind of problem, and I pride myself on being able to present solutions rather than waiting for others to tell me solutions.

What does it mean to you to be a solution-ist?

A solution-ist is somebody who actively drives to solve problems and provides options. They don't sit around and wait for a solution to be presented to them; they actively hunt down solutions.
