Laura Saravia joined our team in August of 2021, bringing with her 15 years of accounting experience. As Office Manager, Laura wears many hats and is responsible for streamlining administrative processes, managing accounts payable, accumulating proposal pieces, and other executive support-related tasks.
When you walk through our doors, Laura will most likely be the first face you see! Laura’s dedication, attention to detail and positive influence are highly valued, and make us very grateful to have her on our team.
What are your favorite outdoor spaces?
I enjoy anything near water! I could happily spend the day at the
beach, lake, or even the pool.
The best piece of advice I've ever been given is...
The best advice I’ve received is, “Don’t give up.” There are always unexpected things that come up in life, some big, some small. I have been dealt some of the biggest but for my family I refuse to give up on anything. I am currently seeking my bachelor’s degree in accounting after being in the industry for 15 years. Having three teenagers and one pre-teen doesn’t make it any easier but it provides me with the inspiration to show them it’s never too late.
Who was the most influential person to you as a child?
Probably my grandmother. She was very independent and hardworking, and she did a lot of accounting for big firms. She was the person who taught me to read, spell, add, subtract, multiply, and divide before I even started Kindergarten! I always admired and looked up to her.
