Arnold Gonzales joined our team in February of 2022, bringing with him a wealth of landscape and hardscape construction knowledge and experience. After obtaining a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance through the University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, he began his career boots-on-the-ground as a crewman.
Arnold quickly worked his way up through the ranks in various management positions with established and well-respected industry names before coming on board with B&D as a Project Manager. This fast-track tenure enabled him to learn a variety of skills within the industry, which combined with his natural leadership capabilities, makes Arnold an invaluable asset to our team.
Probably American Airlines. What made it difficult was that we were in the midst of it while going through the pandemic. We faced many obstacles, such as increased Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), had to stay six feet apart from each other, wear masks etc. That project really held our feet to the fire and can make the job almost impossible because it’s hard to stay that far apart.
The most interesting project I’ve worked on is probably the San Antonio Botanical Garden because it was a large project. There was so much scope and so much to do. It came out awesome. There was a lot of architect involvement; I worked hand-in-hand with the architect almost every day to make sure how they drew it up is the way we installed it.
Live Oak. Reminds me of Texas.
